Better late than never.
Almost two years ago I bought a limited edition “knights of the coin table” coin which is over struck on an Eisenhower dollar by coin expert and minter Daniel Carr. It was purchased on November 1st 2024. Unfortunately it was lost in shipping without a trace so I received my money back and gave up on finding it. 640 days later it showed up in the system and was delivered to me. Nov 2nd 2024 it was given to the postal service and it showed up in my mailbox August 1st 2026. The coin was received in perfect condition and with no explanation of where it was. I contacted the seller who sold it to me to pay for it again but he said it was written off as a loss and that I should keep it. Reluctantly I agreed. What an incredible story behind this coin I found to add to my Dan Carr collection. I’m just glad it wasn’t lost forever. Thanks for reading my story!

New Display Case
I got this display case for my birthday. I decided to put some of my most valuable bottles and coins inside, including my 1879 CC Morgan Dollar, which is the encased coin on the far left.

Morgan dollar collection
Over the last 30 years Ive been working on my collection, like Johnny Cash said, one piece at a time. My Morgan collection stands out from the rest of my coins because of their history and beauty. Im trying to find another box to house everything together because there are just too many for the box Ive been using. I hope this inspires you to work on your collection too! If you dont own any Morgan dollars find at least one, you will see the beautiful details that I see. Thanks for looking!

2026 proof
I pre ordered my 2026 proof set already. These 2026 year coin changes are exciting and well thought out! I have almost everything that has been released so far. It will be interesting to see what they do with next year’s coins. I hope y’all are doing well!!

Morgan dollars
I’ve been faithfully adding to my Morgan dollar collection, 1 at a time. Of 97 different M/S Morgan’s minted between 1878-1904 and the ones in 1921, I now have 60! I’m only missing 37..and I’m not done yet.🙂 who else has a passion for those beautiful coins?

2025 S cent
I always buy my new year coins via pre-sale or as released on day of because you never know how many will be minted and released. When I bought my 2025 S cent in February for $29 I considered it to be rather pricey for a proof since the other years were always half that price. I just looked at the current value of my proof.. Right now they are going for about $200 each. I wonder if its because of low mintage or because its the last year cent minted (for now anyway). Buying the new releases as they become available is a smart move for all of us to make, it guarantees our collections will stay up to date before they run out or just dont make enough for everyone. As a cent collector Im sad to see them go. Maybe they will come back?? I guess we will see!!

Grading
I have been adding new coins and realized there isn’t a way to add CAC as my grading service. Is there a way to include CAC as a service of grading? Thanks in advance.
