You need to weigh it to see if it’s copper or zinc. Copper pennies weigh 3.2 grams while zinc ones only weigh 2.5 grams. There are also small and large date options for this year. Going off your picture you have a large date Denver minted 1982 penny. Thanks for sharing your question!! -Phil
