I always buy my new year coins via pre-sale or as released on day of because you never know how many will be minted and released.
When I bought my 2025 S cent in February for $29 I considered it to be rather pricey for a proof since the other years were always half that price.
I just looked at the current value of my proof.. Right now they are going for about $200 each. I wonder if its because of low mintage or because its the last year cent minted (for now anyway).
Buying the new releases as they become available is a smart move for all of us to make, it guarantees our collections will stay up to date before they run out or just dont make enough for everyone.
As a cent collector Im sad to see them go. Maybe they will come back?? I guess we will see!!

From what I have heard they will still mint the one cent coin for mint sets/proof sets. But that info was a couple months old.

I feel they could of made them smaller. Same size with a hole in the middle. Or bring back the 2c or 3c.
