1878 P Morgan

This year for Christmas my dad gave me his coin collection that I never knew existed. In it I found a lot of pieces I didn’t have, including this 1878 8 feathers Morgan!! They made about 750,000 of them before changing the reverse to the 7 feathers reverse. Dad gave me both the 7 and 8 feathers coins!!! I was in shock to be honest. Also a 1935 peace dollar, I’ll share them in another post. Thanks for looking!!

Awesome! Amazing gift from Dad! Love that perfectly shadowed grey toning Morgan’s get. Like it was painted in greyscale. I am in the beginning stages of putting together an entire set with those tones.
