2000 D error, possible cud/die cut

Almost over looked this little fella. I thought it was dirt or stained, but the closer I looked, I noticed it wasn’t. For sure leaning towards a mint error. Any thoughts?

Looks to me like a pretty significant lamination. Metal separation on the planchet due to improper melt or chemistry. A die cud will usually show up as a raised area where a section of the die broke off and a die break or cut will also show up as a raised fissure where the metal is allowed to be pressed into a crack in the die.

I don’t know the value of something like this, any idea? Thank you for commenting on my posts
