Just for the record….Their coin collecting supplies are the “ONLY” thing I recommend buying from Littleton coin company.

Depends on what you are looking to collect? Obviously I see cents. One a year? Year/mint marks? Mint errors/double dies? I would probably start with a cent book. Like $5 at your local coin store or online. Personally I have found that Littleton books hold coins extremely well and as long as you are not swapping upgrades out all the time they hold up great. Some of the other companies tend to wear loose in my experience. Look at variety vista . com for information regarding the minting process and known error coins. Research PCGS Photograde to learn how coin condition changes the appearance and value of coins. My last recommendation is to purchase a RedBook(even an older used copy). And read it!!!! Cover to cover. There is tons of useful information in those pages. Mintage quantities, relative values, changing of designs, alloys, minting processes.
